About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Sales Ledger Executive to join our dynamic team in the tech and property industry. Based in Derby, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Ledger Management:
- Create and process sales ledger invoices.
- Reconcile invoices with the business CRM system.
- Purchase Ledger Oversight:
- Oversee the processing of purchase ledger transactions.
- Monitor and ensure accuracy in all ledger activities.
- Customer and Supplier Support:
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer and supplier queries via email and phone.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues as they arise.
- General Finance Duties:
- Assist with various finance-related tasks as needed to support the team and business operations.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience using NetSuite and Zendesk is highly desirable but not essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a working knowledge of formulas, data sorting, and basic reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prior experience in a finance or accounting role is advantageous.
