Your Role: Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst at, you’ll be instrumental in analysing business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the development of innovative solutions. Collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you’ll translate business requirements into actionable insights and help implement strategies that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis: Conduct detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gather and document business requirements, ensuring they align with user needs and organisational goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse data to identify trends and provide actionable insights that support business decisions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including requirements, process maps, and user stories.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Project Support: Assist in developing project plans and strategies, ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Software Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscapes to provide relevant business insights.
  • Quality Assurance: Support quality assurance efforts to ensure solutions meet business requirements and high standards of quality.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the technology or software sector.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.

The role is Monday to Friday working hours 09:00am -17:30pm, This will be hybrid working but the successful candidate will be required to commute to our office in Little Eaton, Derby at least once per week.
